The One About Stuff: episode 66

I love Salt Lake. A lot. I'm excited to be living here and for all the experiences that will come along. It was definitely a shock at first, it's different than Provo/BYU-Town, that's for sure.
I went up to campus the other day, it's HUGE. Huge I tell you! It's a good looking campus too, I like it. My schedule this fall won't be ideal. It's been kind of frustrating signing up for classes. I'm trying to get all my classes on just Tuesday/Thursday so that I can (hopefully) have a job for the other days. It's kind of working. The schedule part, not the job part. That's another frustrating thing. I have no job. I've applied for a few, but no bites yet. I guess that means I need to find the nearest plasma donation center. It's been a while and I need the money.
I'm around a lot of allreadygraduated people and I am jealous. I want to be done and working already. Also, I think a part of my problem is that I've been watching Friends. It looks fun (the general idea of it) and my life will never be like that (odds are). Can I just say though, Chandler is my favorite character. His wit gets me everytime.
At least it's summer time (enjoy the music video). I do love the summer. Lots of good things are planned: New Harmony Trip, Bear Lake (59 days), and Monterey M&S concert.
Life is good. It'll get better and the frustrations will change... eventually.

Just think, 3 years ago, I was...

kissing the Blarney Stone
standing on top of the Eifel Tower

watching people jump off of Mt. Blanc
making "holy faces" in Westminster Abbey
riding a bike in Barcelona

being cultured in Madrid
I think it's time to go back.

Year of the Gordo

Hi, my name is Kenlynn. I'm 20 years old. I live in Salt Lake City and I am a proud owner of a Gordon Hayward jersey.... (and I'm a Mormon...)

My birthday was the other day and this was one of my gifts. I just want to wear it all the time.  It's a shame by birthday is right after the season ended. Now I have to wait for a couple of months till it's really appropriate to wear it around. Screw that, I'll probably wear it to church on Sunday.

I also got this little gem.
Members of my family find this humorous. You know who you are. They will probably call me as the new Egg Cracker in the ward now that I have the equipment.

I also got a ticket to see these lovely gentlemen in August in Monterey, CA
Love me some Mumford and Sons. Oh boy do I.

The birthday celebration included some breakfast with part of the fam, 7 Peaks with a few peeps, and a BBQ with some choice friends and an ice cream cake with candles. I liked it. I haven't had a "birthday party" for at least 5 years.

In my mind I've been 20 for longer than just 3 days. It feels good. I think year 20 will be a good one. After all, it is the year of the Gordo.
