I think I'm alone.
I actually do enjoy the week (or two) preceding finals. I get some crazy boost of study-energy. It's grand. I've always enjoyed studying and when it comes to this time of the year, I enjoy it even more. Suddenly everything I'm reading becomes 10X more interesting and it all actually makes sense.
Maybe it's my subconscious that knows that in two weeks I'll be out of here and resting from any sort of schooling, and so it makes my conscious excited which results in better studying?.. Maybe. Or maybe it's just that a medium amount of stress is good for a student. That is also possible being as I have two tests next week along with three finals and then the following week I have two more finals.
I've learned that for me to have a successful study session, I have to 1. be in a secluded area (cubby-desks are ideal. Apartments are a no-go) 2. have my Solo Piano Radio playing through my headphones and 3. take breaks every hour and a half or so (this includes PitBull Radio (this is the only time I listen to that station) or Parachute Radio) for ten-ish minutes.
So, here's to finals and the joy that I experience preceding them.
