Short and Fat.

Little things make a big difference.

A good pen.
I only write with pens. I am a slight pen snob. I want a pen that fits between my ring finger and thumb nicely. Those cheap pens that are handed out for free tend to be crap, they break too easily and the ink dies out too fast. You need a pen that is smooth writing, one that doesn't rip the page. Don't waste your time on the "erasable pens." Stupidest pen ever. I grew up using the blue Papermate pens. Last year for Christmas I asked for Pilot pens in both black and blue. It's the Christmas gift that keeps on giving.

Good headphones.
I didn't realize this until just recently. Those headphones that block out all the outside noise and allows you hear all the small details of a song. Lovely. If I ever get money and feel like spending it, a good pair of headphones might be my first purchase, the world would be a better place.

A good volleyball.
I might also be a volleyball snob. Now, I realize that people have their preferred volleyball. Some like them soft and squishy. To me, those hurt. Give it to me with minimal squishy-ness. I like the feeling of a slightly used volleyball too. The sting that comes from digging a good hit with a good volleyball. Mmm.
