Experiencing New Kicks (Not Shoes)

I've never traveled far when it comes to music. The music that I listen to has always been in the same genre. You know; John Mayer, Parachute, Relient K, add some county in there and that was about the extent of my musical circle. As of late however, I've discovered that I like different things. I think it started one day when I decided to listen to some Blue Grass: Ode To Metallica (it's a real thing, my family has the CD) something I haven't done in 7+ years. The sound of the banjo reminded me of a song I had heard on the radio: The Cave by Mumford & Sons which reminded me of a blog that had mentioned them and their greatness. It just spiraled from there. I've listened to their "Sigh No More" CD over and over. I can't get enough. So much power in the voice of that Marcus Mumford fellow, and in his lyrics.... and in the banjo... Let me just add something to my bucket list: See Mumford & Sons in concert, preferably in London.
Since these men, I've come upon Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros. They make me feel like a hippie, it's great.
Huzzah for new music kicks.
